Job summary

KBR is seeking a senior Construction Manager to lead on-site execution of a $900M+ energetics facility in Kentucky. You will own mobilization through mechanical completion, interfacing with the U.S. Army, USACE, installation leadership, and government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical/CuEngineering or related field; four more years accepted in lieu.
• 15+ years of progressive construction mgmt on heavy industrial federal programs (DoD/USACE...).
• Senior on-site PM for programs $500M+ from mobilization to completion.
• Experience with chemical/energetics facilities and hazardous process work.

Responsibilities

• Direct all on-site construction activities for a $900M+ facility.
• Interface with Army, USACE, installation leadership, and Govt. reviews.
• Manage subcontractors, schedule discipline, and quality across packages.
• Lead safety program compliant with EM 385-1-1 and DoD rules.
• Ensure compliance with DESR 6055.09 and NEC requirements.
• Oversee cost, schedule, EV, and change control; status reporting.
• Coordinate sequencing with vendors, commissioning, and start-up teams.
• QA/QC per USACE three-phase process; closeout punch lists and docs.
• Support environmental compliance during construction.
