Job summary

Cordoba Corporation in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Construction Manager I to drive projects end-to-end on a 100% onsite basis. The candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams, ensure district compliance, and manage budgets and schedules for complex projects valued over $10M.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in architecture/engineering/construction management or CCM eligibility, 10+ years in construction/project management, and BIM/LEED/DSA experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction or project management experience.
• Design-build, BIM, LEED/CHPS experience required.
• DSA processes familiarity and OSHA 30 minimum.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction through close-out phases on assigned projects.
• Review documents and provide comments to Designers as needed.
• Plan and report status/progress to upper management.
• Coordinate with public agencies to ensure compliant off-site work.
• Oversee budgets and schedules; monitor monthly status.
• Direct contractor daily activities and manage submittals/RFC responses.
• Evaluate substitutions to meet specifications.
• Review and negotiate change orders for fair pricing.
• Monitor payments to contractors/architects/engineers.
• Administer agreements between Architects and District; coordinate fixtures/equipment.
• Oversee project close-out with DSA and financial close-out.
• Perform related duties as needed.
