- 6-10+ years of construction management experience supporting large-scale power infrastructure (specifically substations), mission-critical, utility, data center, or similar complex projects.
- Strong expertise in construction project controls, including scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, cost control, and quality assurance.
- Experience coordinating developers, contractors, consultants, and cross-functional internal stakeholders throughout project execution.
- Proven ability to identify and resolve complex construction challenges while driving accountability and project performance.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence teams and effectively elevate issues when necessary.

Job Description
The Senior Construction Manager, Power Infrastructure is responsible for overseeing the delivery of large-scale power infrastructure projects that support data center growth and operations. This individual contributor will manage construction execution through developers and contractors, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality and technical standards while coordinating closely with cross-functional internal teams and external partners. This is a remote position requiring approximately 25% travel, with occasional travel up to 50%.
Key Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee developer-led power infrastructure construction projects, monitoring progress, safety, quality, schedule, and budget performance.
- Review and manage construction schedules, coordinating activities with developers, contractors, engineering, commissioning, and operations teams to maintain critical milestones.
- Identify construction risks, constructability issues, and execution challenges, proactively driving resolution and escalating impacts to leadership when necessary.
- Track project costs, forecasts, budget commitments, and change orders, ensuring financial discipline and visibility into potential cost overruns.
- Validate compliance with QA/QC programs, technical requirements, applicable codes, and site-specific safety plans across all project activities.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress, stakeholder coordination, safety performance, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Compensation
$55/hr to $72hr.
