Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Construction Litigation Shareholder to join a well-established practice focused on representing contractors, developers, owners, and design professionals in complex disputes.

The candidate will manage all phases of litigation, advise on risk management, and lead business development efforts. This is a high-exposure role with mentorship and a collegial culture, offering substantial compensation and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice in MO, IL, OR or FL.
• Substantial construction-law litigation experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation, from case assessment through appeal.
• Represent clients in construction disputes, including defects, lien and bond claims, and contract disputes.
• Advise clients on risk management and contract drafting/review.
• Take and defend depositions, draft motions, and prepare cases for arbitration, mediation, and trial.
• Collaborate with a team of litigators and support staff on multi-party matters.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through practical, business-minded counsel.
• Participate in business development and industry relationships.
