Job summary

Ascent Developer Solutions seeks a Relationship Manager for Construction Lending in Encino, CA. You will drive onboarding, coordinate cross‑functional loan processes, and nurture long‑term borrower relationships.

The role is on-site with Friday remote work, fostering collaboration with Credit, Operations, Construction, and Sales teams to structure, package, and close loans while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience focused on construction and bridge lending or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proven experience in a sales environment with a strong focus on client relationship management.
• Excellent customer service skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface with high‑powered clients and their teams.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, and other computing systems.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
• Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Credit, Operations, Construction, and Valuations to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Oversee onboarding, set expectations for loan approval and closing.
• Coordinate workflow to ensure loans close on schedule.
• Lead team huddles to manage opportunities in the Sales POD pipeline.
• Communicate the Ascent value proposition to borrowers and prospects.
• Collaborate on loan analysis, structuring, packaging, pricing, and borrower approval.
• Assist Loan Officers in presenting opportunities to approval authority and participate in Credit Review.
• Understand loan portfolios and assist with portfolio issues.
• Manage collection of financial reports, project updates, renewals, and covenant compliance.
• Follow up with clients on loan payments and servicing reports.
• Maintain regular contact with borrowers to foster relationships.
• Participate in industry networking and trade shows to build connections.
• Perform other functions as assigned by Sales or Credit/Risk Management.
