Job summary

The San Diego County Water Authority is seeking a Principal Construction Manager to lead and oversee high-impact capital projects that keep critical water infrastructure running safely and efficiently. You will manage construction activities, ensure quality and compliance, coordinate with engineers and contractors, and resolve field issues.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a four-year college with a degree in construction management or civil engineering.
• Eight years of professional construction management experience including public water/utility projects.
• At least two years supervisory experience at the Senior Construction Manager level.
• PE in California or CMAA CCM certification; or fourteen years of heavy civil PM with six years at Senior level.
