Job summary

ConsultNet Technology Services and Solutions in Columbus seeks a Construction Executive to oversee the entire construction function, lead project teams, manage budgets, and ensure deadlines are met. You will interact with clients and stakeholders while developing relationships with vendors and partners.

The role requires planning from preconstruction to execution, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and driving growth through new client acquisition.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management or equivalent is preferred.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, including cost control and scheduling.
• Knowledge of contract risk management and client/sub-contractor requirements.
• Experience with local municipalities, inspectors, and utility providers.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents such as blueprints and schedules.
• Familiarity with change orders, purchase orders, and variance PO processes.
• Fundamental knowledge of labor laws and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with MS Office Suite and scheduling/project management software.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee all aspects of the construction function.
• Assist in all levels of the project, including project execution, project planning, project financials, preconstruction, and health and safety planning.
• Ensure timely delivery of all projects, within the agreed budget, and following the pre-established specifications.
• Develop strategies that support the company's growth to acquire new clients.
• Collaborate with multiple ranks across the construction function to assure that strategies are implemented well.
