Job summary

Citadel DBD in Washington, DC seeks a Director of Construction Services to lead construction operations for public and private sector projects. You will manage projects through preconstruction to closeout, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, quality and safety while guiding design collaboration and client communication.

This on-site leadership role requires 15+ years in construction, deep knowledge of AIA contracts and job costing, and a proven ability to oversee multiple projects while

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years progressive construction management experience, including public sector projects.
• Experience with AIA contract documents and G702/G703 billing.
• Familiarity with public sector procurement, payroll, prevailing wage, and compliance.
• Proven leadership across multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all active projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring budget, schedule and quality targets.
• Serve as senior contact for public agencies and private clients on construction execution.
• Mentor project managers, superintendents and field staff across portfolios.
• Review schedules, budgets, change orders, and AIA billings for accuracy.
• Ensure OSHA and safety program compliance across sites.
