Job summary

Career Developers Inc. is recruiting a Senior Construction Litigation/Labor Law Associate Attorney for a full-time hybrid role in NYC. The candidate will handle NYS Labor Law construction matters, insurance defense, and general liability cases with a senior team of attorneys.

Requirements include a JD from an ABA-accredited school, New York Bar membership in good standing, and at least 7 years of labor/construction litigation experience. First/second chair experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar.
• 7 years of proven Labor Law construction experience.
• Experience with insurance defense, premises liability, and general liability matters.
• First and/or second chair experience strongly desired.
• Advanced understanding of NY Construction Law (Labor Law §§200, 240, 241) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage cases in insurance defense, general liability, auto/transportation liability, and NYS Labor Law construction matters.
• Partner with attorneys, team members, and seasoned Partners on high-impact legal projects.
• Regularly handle court appearances and depositions.
• Engage closely with clients, delivering clear, timely updates and guidance.
