This position is based in Norfolk, VA, requires Virginia certification, and includes responsibilities such as site inspections, project administration, and training junior inspectors.

Qualifications

• Requires two-year associate degree or equivalent.
• Three years' experience preferred.
• Virginia Certification in Erosion and Sediment Control Inspection required.
• OSHA 10 Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects by visiting and inspecting job sites, ensuring compliance with plans and specs.
• Review processes, budgets, invoices, and contracts; coordinate with engineers and inspectors.
• Provide information to citizens, homeowners, contractors and city agencies; prepare correspondence and reports.

Education

Two-year associate degree or equivalent

Three years' experience

Virginia Certification in Erosion and Sediment Control Inspection
