Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector 4 to oversee construction inspections on road and bridge projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

You will perform field testing, report findings, and coordinate with project teams to keep work on track. Responsibilities include supervising junior inspectors, reviewing reports and testing procedures, and maintaining complete documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Highschool/GED is required.
• Ability to understand construction plans, specifications, and procedures.
• Demonstrate basic math skills, including geometry and trigonometry.
• Read, write, and communicate fluently.
• Work effectively as a team member and complete daily reports by hand and computer.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction inspection and reporting of concrete, earthwork, and asphalt pavement.
• Road and bridge construction inspection, sampling and testing, and reporting.
• Accurately record and report daily forms per project requirements.
• Supervise subordinate construction inspectors and provide assistance to project management.
• Evaluate staff performance and arrange staff training.
• Submit accurate time sheets, mileage, and expense reports on time.
