Responsibilities

• Supervise inspection of thoroughfare, roadway and construction projects to ensure compliance with plans and specs.
• Coordinate commercial testing laboratory activities to provide quality assurance of construction materials.
• Coordinate utility relocation work and review field operations for paving, sewers and bridges.
• Provide accurate measurements of quantities for payments to contractors.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating staff; initiate disciplinary actions if necessary.
• Lead project teams and provide technical advice for development and delivery of projects.
