Job summary

The City of Goodyear is seeking an experienced lead inspector to oversee Civil Construction inspections, train staff, and ensure project acceptance per MAG standards. You will verify records, manage inspection data in Accela, and coordinate with developers and engineers.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in civil inspection, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to lead multiple projects while upholding Goodyear’s core values and customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in a related field.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
• Proficiency with Accela or ability to learn.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Inspect private developer and City projects to ensure MAG specs.
• Prepare inspection documentation and reports; enter data into Accela.
• Lead training and assist inspectors; schedule workloads.
• Coordinate with departments and external agencies.
