Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• 10+ years of construction inspection experience, including 2+ years in highway or bridge inspection.
• Familiar with MaineDOT specifications and documentation practices.
• Ability to travel to remote field locations with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between field inspectors and contractor's representative to supervise the work and testing.
• Monitor progress and report deviations from schedule, contract price, or quantity.
• Support Construction Services Manager in project management, contract administration, QA/QC.
• Track submittals to ensure reviews and approvals are in place.
• Maintain records and accounting documents related to project costs.
