TYLin is seeking an Assistant Bridge Inspector to join our Bridge Sector. This role supports inspection teams, prepares reports, conducts load ratings, and develops MOT plans in a hybrid field/office environment.
Opportunities to grow toward leadership in the Bridge Inspection Team. Ideal candidates hold an Associate or Bachelor degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, with 0–5 years of bridge inspection experience; a Master’s degree is preferred and EIT or SPRAT certification is a plus.

We are seeking an Assistant Bridge Inspector to join TYLin's Bridge Sector. This position will report to the Principal Bridge. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting inspection teams, writing reports, conducting load ratings, creating Maintenance of Traffic plans, operating equipment, performing nondestructive testing, performing rehabilitation/retrofit design, andand preparing related documents (Calculations, Plans, Specifications, & Estimates (PS&E)). This position has a dynamic schedule, including a mix of daytime field and office work and occasional nighttime field work. The work environment consists of a mix of on-site field and office/work-from-home. Within a team atmosphere we plan to foster your knowledge and get you prepared and well-placed to learn and grow!
