Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Construction Inspector to join our field operations. You will perform inspections of concrete, earthwork, and asphalt, and report findings to project teams.

The role requires reading plans and specifications, precise documentation, and collaboration with subcontractors on a variety of sites in Maryland. You must have at least 4 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to understand construction plans, specifications, and procedures.
• Demonstrate basic math skills, including geometry and trigonometry.
• Possess the ability to read, write, and communicate fluently.
• Work effectively as a team member and complete daily reports by hand and computer.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction inspection and reporting of concrete, earthwork, and asphalt.
• Inspect road and bridge construction; sample and test materials.
• Record daily forms accurately per project requirements.
• Supervise inspectors and support project management.
• Evaluate staff performance and arrange training.
• Review reports and testing procedures for client compliance.
• Submit time sheets, mileage, and expense reports weekly.
• Ensure safety standards and OSHA compliance on sites.
