Job summary

Requires 4–6 years in construction inspection, high school diploma, and a range of certifications (NICET, ICC, AWS, ASNT, ACI).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associates degree preferred.
• 4-6 years’ experience in construction inspection.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.
• NICET/ICC/AWS/ASNT/ACI certifications strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs testing, observation, and inspection per procedures to verify contract compliance.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Provide clear documentation of findings and results.
• Prepare inspection reports and document nonconformance.
• Perform basic data analysis before reporting to the Project Manager.
• Communicate information to the Project Manager and team as directed.
• Coordinate with client and site personnel for issue resolution.
• Assist in developing scope for testing and inspection services.
• Coordinate pre-dispatch activities with Project/Department/Office Managers.
• Maintain equipment operation and calibration.
• Lead and coordinate activities of lower level inspectors.
• Conduct advanced fieldwork and assist with project management.
• Follow safety rules and report safety concerns.
