Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associates degree in Civil Engineering Technology preferred.
• Minimum 2-4 years’ experience as an Engineering Technician or related.
• 1 year experience in construction inspection preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs testing, observation, and inspection as directed per procedures.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Document findings clearly and thoroughly.
• Perform basic data analysis before submittal to the Project Manager.
• Communicate information to the Project Manager and team.
• Draft inspection reports for senior inspectors or Project Managers.
• Assist more senior inspectors on projects.
• Maintain equipment and calibration.
• Adhere to safety rules and maintain quality standards on all projects.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Associates degree in Civil Engineering Technology preferred

NICET Level II certification in Construction Materials Testing

NICET Level II Geotechnical

AWS CWI
