Job summary

The City of Buda (TX) seeks a seasoned Construction Inspector to lead complex inspections of public infrastructure and water management projects. You will work with the City Engineer and Engineering staff to ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and project plans, while maintaining thorough records and daily reports.

Responsibilities include field inspections, data collection, and coordination with multiple departments for MS4 reporting and development reviews.

Qualifications

• Five years minimum site civil/public infrastructure construction experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Valid Texas driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform site inspections of civil and environmental improvements for public infrastructure.
• Coordinate MS4 program reporting with City Departments.
• Read and interpret engineering plans and standards during inspections.
• Prepare reports and field memoranda related to projects.
• Supervise others as needed and coordinate with City Engineer.
