LegalVision is seeking a Senior Associate to join our ANZ Construction & Infrastructure team and help build out our New Zealand construction practice. You’ll work on a broad range of construction, infrastructure and commercial matters for SME, mid-market and enterprise clients, with remote-first arrangements and access to Christchurch coworking or office space.

• 5+ years' experience in front-end construction/infrastructure matters.
• Experience in commercial contracts is highly valued.
• Ability to explain complex legal issues clearly to non-legal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of construction contracts and related documents.
• Advising clients on procurement strategies and regulatory compliance.
• Assisting with contractual claims and interpretation.
• Developing and maintaining client relationships as the trusted adviser.
