Job summary

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a Foreman to lead a construction crew in Sherman, TX. You will ensure safety, quality, and scheduling while interpreting blueprints and coordinating daily activities on site.

Responsibilities include supervising workers, enforcing safety policies, maintaining reports, mentoring team members, and coordinating with project managers, engineers, and clients. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate's degree or trade certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in construction with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and specifications; OSHA 10/30 preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of construction workers per plans and schedules.
• Enforce safety policies; conduct regular safety briefings and hazard assessments.
• Read blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate execution of work.
• Monitor progress; report deviations or delays to Project Manager.
• Allocate tasks; provide clear instructions to crew members.
• Inspect work in progress and at completion to ensure quality and specs.
• Operate construction equipment as needed.
• Maintain daily reports on progress, personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Train and mentor new team members on tasks and safety.
• Communicate with project managers, engineers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Resolve conflicts on site; ensure proper tool maintenance and care.
• Order materials and coordinate with procurement as needed.
