Job summary

Primoris Services Corp. is seeking a Foreman Civil to lead and supervise civil construction crews on projects for Primoris Energy Services. You will ensure safety, efficiency, and on-schedule work within budget, while adhering to plans, specs, and quality standards.

Responsibilities include interpreting plans, coordinating with project managers and engineers, and mentoring crew members. A strong focus on safety and productivity will be essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or relevant certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of civil construction experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/foreman role.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols; ability to enforce safety on site.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise daily activities of civil construction crews.
• Interpret and implement civil plans, blueprints, and specs for project phases.
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA regulations on all job sites.
• Conduct pre-task planning, safety briefings, and toolbox talks.
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and engineers to ensure progress.
• Manage equipment usage, material procurement, and resources to optimize productivity.
• Track daily progress and document labor, equipment, and material usage.
• Identify and resolve on-site construction issues; escalate when needed.
• Train and mentor crew members to maintain a productive work environment.
• Perform quality control checks to meet standards and specs.
• Participate in site meetings to assist planning and problem solving.
