Primoris Energy Services in Sherman, Texas is seeking a Foreman to oversee daily construction crew activities, ensuring safe, efficient, high‑quality project completion. Leadership, blueprint literacy, and strong safety knowledge are essential for success on energy services or heavy industrial construction sites.

You will supervise crews, read plans, enforce safety policies, monitor progress against schedules and budgets, and maintain equipment and reports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; technical training or certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in construction with 2+ years in a supervisory/foreman role in energy services or heavy industrial construction.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specs.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations; OSHA 10/30 preferred.
• Proficient with heavy equipment relevant to energy services construction.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, stand long hours, and work in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct a crew, assign tasks, provide guidance, and monitor performance.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings to ensure accurate execution.
• Enforce safety policies, conduct safety meetings and inspections.
• Monitor progress, identify issues, and implement solutions to maintain schedules and budgets.
• Operate/heavy equipment as needed, ensuring safety protocols.
• Perform quality control inspections to meet specs and standards.
• Communicate with project managers and stakeholders on status.
• Train and mentor crew members, fostering a productive environment.
• Prepare daily progress reports, material usage, and equipment logs.
• Ensure proper maintenance and care of tools and equipment.
