Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Project Estimator in Wildwood, FL to turn civil plans into competitive bids for major infrastructure projects across Central Florida.

You will review plans, perform quantity takeoffs, prepare detailed cost estimates for earthwork, utilities, and roadway infrastructure, and coordinate with CAD technicians and subcontractors to ensure complete, competitive bids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is a plus; equivalent estimating experience may be considered.
• Experience estimating for site development or heavy civil construction preferred.
• Proficiency with HCSS Heavy Bid and AGTEK for cost estimating and quantity takeoffs is highly desirable.
• Working knowledge of Bluebeam and Microsoft Office; Microsoft Project experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Review RFPs, RFQs, plans and specs to determine project scope.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for site development, earthwork, utilities, and roadway projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and material calculations using AGTEK; identify gaps.
• Coordinate with CAD, vendors, and subcontractors to compile quotes and documentation.
• Develop bid schedules, manage bid documentation, and support bid submissions.
