Job summary

Qualifications

• 4 year degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in project management and/or estimating within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and cost-estimating techniques.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Jira, SharePoint) and estimating software (e.g., AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revu).
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, freight, and other related expenses.
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
• Collaborate with vendors, sales teams, and other project stakeholders to refine and adjust estimates as needed.
• Follow up on the quotations.
• Should be Open to new products and conduct research as and when required
• Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project schedules and work plans.
• Coordinate project team meetings and maintain project documentation.
• Assist in the procurement process, including soliciting bids, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships.
• Oversee to ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, change orders, and financial documents
• Prepare regular progress reports and updates for project stakeholders.
