ARC - Advancing Revolutionary Construction in Morristown, NJ is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to support project teams through design and preconstruction phases. You will analyze drawings, develop detailed cost estimates, coordinate pricing from subcontractors, and contribute to value engineering to align with budget goals.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of estimating experience, strong knowledge of CSI/MasterFormat, and proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam Revu.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant construction estimating experience required.
• Strong knowledge of construction documents, estimating practices, and project logistics.
• Familiarity with CSI and MasterFormat breakdowns.
• General understanding of building codes.
• Ability to visualize projects in 2D and 3D.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office.

Aufgaben

• Read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs and pricing to develop accurate estimates.
• Prepare cost estimates at all design stages: conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction documents.
• Reconcile budget estimates with prior versions to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Maintain and utilize historical cost data for future projects.
• Process and follow up on RFIs.
• Develop trade-specific scopes of work based on drawings, design meetings, and construction knowledge.
• Participate in bidding and buy-out processes.
• Support value engineering to maintain budget alignment.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and project teams.
• Solicit, evaluate, and analyze pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
• Attend design development meetings and provide input to align design intent with cost goals.
