Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our high-end commercial GC team in California. You will prepare budgets, estimates, and pre-bid packages for CM at Risk projects, perform quantity takeoffs, and develop cost strategies while coordinating with clients, design teams and subcontractors.

Required are 7+ years in construction estimating or preconstruction, BS in a related field or equivalent, and proficiency with industry software.

Qualifications

• BS in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of construction estimator or preconstruction experience.
• Commercial construction experience.
• Experience with preconstruction software (MC2, OST, Constructware, Bluebeam, BIM360, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Prepare budgets, estimates and pre-bid packages for construction projects under CM at Risk GM pricing.
• Conduct quantity takeoffs and develop cost strategies for multiple projects.
• Manage multiple projects while coordinating with clients, design teams and subcontractors.
