Job summary

APTIM is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Estimator to join our growing team, focused on federal government projects including DoD, DOE, FEMA and others. You will lead estimates from conceptual to final proposal, collaborating across BD, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Proposal groups.

Ideal candidates bring 5–10 years in construction/environmental estimation, proficiency with InEight, Sage Estimating, RSMeans, and advanced Excel, and a track record supporting DoD/DOE

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5–10 years in construction/environmental estimating, preferably federal projects.
• Experience supporting DoD/DOE/Federal agencies and using bottom-up, ROM and parametric estimates.
• Proficient with estimating software (InEight, Sage Estimating, RSMeans) and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of cost estimates from conceptual to final proposal submission.
• Prepare estimates using project information, historical data, and SME input.
• Develop ROM, parametric, and bottom-up estimates for various project types.
• Lead major proposal estimating efforts with cross-functional teams.
• Incorporate subcontractor quotations and perform constructability reviews.
• Develop pricing strategies, labor rates, and indirect cost allocations.
• Mentor team members and share estimating best practices.
• Support BD and Capture to craft competitive solutions.
