Job summary

You will prepare takeoffs, pricing, and bid documents, coordinate subcontract solicitations, and support post-bid buyouts to ensure competitive, accurate proposals.

The role emphasizes reading specs, pricing labor and equipment, and maintaining supplier relationships while guiding a small estimating team as needed.

Qualifications

• Engineering/Construction Management or Architectural degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years project engineering or related experience.
• Ability to read specifications and drawings.
• Estimating experience desirable (quantity takeoffs, pricing).
• Drafting and computer skills; strong organization.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, requirements and specifications.
• Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing.
• Coordinate subcontract solicitations and jobwalks.
• Determine labor and construction equipment costs.
• Prepare conceptual estimates and manage bid processes.
• Submit requisitions for materials and review supplier quotes.
• Assist project team post-bid; support subcontractors.
• Maintain client relationships and prepare proposals.
