Diamond West Construction, LLC. is seeking a skilled Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for a range of residential, commercial, and industrial projects across Arizona.

The role involves reviewing plans, performing quantity takeoffs, and evaluating subcontractor bids to protect margins and meet deadlines. Responsibilities include developing estimates at multiple phases, coordinating with project managers and subs, and assembling competitive proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Typically 5–7+ years of estimating experience in commercial or general construction.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting plans, specs, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specifications to confirm scope and identify gaps or conflicts.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for labor, materials, and equipment across trades.
• Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to meet scope and budget.
• Develop conceptual to hard-bid estimates as projects progress through phases.
• Prepare complete proposals with executive summaries and clarifications.
