Job summary

Interwest Construction, Inc is seeking an experienced estimator to lead the preparation of complete estimates and proposals from concept through construction drawings and specs. You will gather information, study plans, and project costs while coordinating with vendors and the project team to develop competitive bids.

The role requires reviewing bid documents, visiting sites when possible, and supporting design-build pursuits with technical proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in CM/Business/CE or related field.
• Experience estimating projects over $5M.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
• Experience with HCSS Heavy Bid and Bluebeam Revu.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete estimates and proposals from concept to drawings.
• Study plans/specs and project costs for each work item.
• Review bid documents and support staff prep.
• Solicit bids from vendors and subcontractors.
• Visit sites for estimate inputs when possible.
• Develop technical proposals for design-build and other procurement.
