Job summary

Gulf Building, LLC. is seeking an Estimator to develop accurate project cost estimates, coordinate with Subcontractors, Clients and Gulf’s Project Executives, Managers and Superintendents, and lead bidding efforts from take-offs to GMPs.

The candidate should have at least 3 years in construction estimating, be proficient with Excel, Bluebeam, On-Screen Take-off and Word, and hold a Bachelor’s degree in construction management (preferred). U.S. work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management (preferred).
• At least 3 years of experience in construction-related fields.
• Experience with estimating software and strong knowledge of Excel, Bluebeam, On-Screen Take-off, and Word.
• South Florida experience preferred; authorized to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Develops detailed estimates and performs quantity take-offs for lump sum bidding, conceptual budgets, design development budgets, and GMPs.
• Lead bidding process by soliciting subcontractors, suppliers, and outside professionals for comprehensive estimates.
• Review plans and bid documents; ensure timely distribution for subcontractor bids; communicate with stakeholders.
