Job summary

Clark Construction Inc., based in Kitsap County, is seeking an experienced Estimator to develop accurate cost estimates for a range of projects. You will analyze drawings, prepare takeoffs, and help prepare subcontractor and vendor scopes.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree and at least five years of estimating experience, plus proficiency with MS Office, Bluebeam, and Procore. New hires receive competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or similar.
• Minimum of five years of estimating experience.
• Proficient with MS Office, Bluebeam, and Procore.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to mentor and train project teams.
• Self-starter who can work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop full-scope cost estimates for diverse projects.
• Interpret drawings/specs and prepare quantity takeoffs.
• Maintain bid files and cost comparison analyses.
• Coordinate with engineers to produce takeoffs.
• Assist in procurement of major materials/subcontracts.
• Support project scheduling and logistics planning.
• Provide forensic reporting and historical data maintenance.
• Meet deadlines and contribute to forecasting.
