Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of general construction experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States; Cook does not sponsor visas.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of construction equipment, site utilities, temporary facilities, and building systems.
• Identify root causes of equipment and system failures and implement corrective actions.
• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair building systems per manufacturer specs and project requirements.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, manuals, and blueprints.
• Support equipment mobilization and site infrastructure improvements.
• Coordinate maintenance with subcontractors, vendors, and project teams.
• Maintain as-built records after project completion.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safety policies on site.
• Identify jobsite hazards and participate in routine safety inspections.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to maintenance staff.
• Develop and update preventive maintenance schedules.
