Job summary

Collins Engineers, Inc. seeks a Construction Engineering Project Manager in Canton, MA to lead a variety of construction engineering projects for local contractors, including temporary works, erection and demolition plans, shoring and supports of excavation, and structural repairs.

The role requires a bachelor’s (or master’s) in civil engineering, PE licensure, and about 10 years of relevant experience. Relocation is available, and the position offers in-office collaboration three days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification is required.
• At least 10 years of construction engineering or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, analysis, and delivery of construction engineering projects.
• Manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, QA/QC processes, and team coordination.
• Serve as the primary client contact for contractors, MassDOT, MBTA, municipalities, and stakeholders.
• Prepare complete engineering plans or reports.
• Use computer aided engineering and design software to prepare documents.
• Ensure safety and oversee staff and training.
