Qualifications

• Experience in drafting, plan set development and structural detailing for transportation infrastructure projects.
• Experience with structural design and load rating of bridges.
• Willingness to lead tasks, mentor junior staff, and grow leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical information to the project manager to ensure compliance with standards, codes, and design instructions.
• Review and analyze design issues and provide recommendations.
• Perform moderately difficult engineering computations.
• Prepare complete engineering plans or reports.
• Use CAD and other design software to prepare documents.
• Direct and supervise work of entry-level engineers, technicians, drafters, and administrative staff.
