Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking a construction engineering professional to support project execution in Houston. The role focuses on providing technical construction support, interpreting design documents, and coordinating quality programs to ensure work is completed to scope.

Qualified candidates will have a four-year engineering degree (or global equivalent) and at least 12 years of related experience, with strong communication across management and field teams.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in engineering field and twelve years of work-related experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Assist craftsmen, foremen, and project supervision with regard to construction-related issues identified on drawings.
• Provide technical interpretation of design documents in support of construction managers, superintendents, and contractors and provide specific expertise for problem solving.
• Establish and maintain effective communication between the company and the design engineer to ensure the timely flow of design documents and information.
• Coordinate the preparation and implementation of the project quality program when the quality function is the responsibility of the construction engineering department.
