Cirks Construction Inc. (CCI), doing business as KDC Construction, is seeking a Director of Construction to lead the construction teams, oversee budgets and project profitability, and ensure client satisfaction. The role emphasizes coordinating PMs, maintaining schedules, mentoring staff, and upholding safety standards across all projects in the Corona area. A strong track record in commercial construction is required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of project management experience in construction.
• Degree in construction management or related field preferred.
• Proven track record leading commercial construction teams.
• Experience managing scheduling, purchasing, and estimating.
• Ability to interpret architectural plans and specifications.
• Proficient with Microsoft Project and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support VP of Construction with assigned duties.
• Manage Senior PMs/PMs and coordinate construction activities.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, milestones and project reporting.
• Review and approve project budgets and bids.
• Develop customer relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
• Mentor employees and lead safety adherence across projects.
• Hire or assist in hiring for construction and estimating teams.
• Resolve project conditions with PMs and subcontractors.
• Ensure timely performance reviews and project documentation.
