Cirks Construction Inc. (CCI), dba KDC Construction, seeks a Vice President of Construction to lead operations for its California-based projects in grocery, retail, and restaurant sectors.

The role provides day-to-day leadership, ensures alignment with the company's vision, culture, and safety standards, and drives overall success. The VP will oversee estimating, project oversight, staffing, budgeting, and business development, with travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 10–15 years in commercial construction, with at least 5 years in a management role.
• Minimum 10 years of experience with ground-up projects.
• Strong knowledge of codes, standards, and safety practices.
• Proven ability to lead teams, build relationships, and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and management of construction operations.
• Oversee estimating, budgeting, procurement, and project scheduling.
• Lead staff development and performance reviews for PMs, superintendents, and engineers.
• Drive business development and client relationships to ensure long-term revenue.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and company guidelines.
