Qualifications

• Seven years’ experience adjudicating construction defect claims with exposure of $100,000 or more.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required; professional designations may substitute for degree.
• Licenses in multiple jurisdictions; ability to obtain licenses in required jurisdictions within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate construction defect claims at high authority limits with technical complexity.
• Analyze claims forms, policies, and endorsements to determine coverage.
• Identify loss drivers and trends to improve claim management and reduce frequency/severity.
• Negotiate complex settlements within scope of authority for cost-effective resolutions.
• Prepare reports for file documentation and communicate with clients and underwriters.
