MasTec, Inc. seeks a Corporate Counsel to serve as a strategic legal advisor for construction law across all divisions. The role reports to the Senior Legal Counsel and supports project teams, executives, and admin departments to ensure compliance and risk management.

The candidate will bring construction-law expertise, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to advise on mergers, acquisitions, and regulatory changes while traveling up to 30% as needed.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited US law school.
• Minimum 10+ years of legal experience, including drafting and negotiating construction contracts.
• Preferred experience with general contractors or construction management firms.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate construction contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements for large-scale vertical projects.
• Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws and industry standards.
• Advise project teams on material contract terms in planning and kickoff meetings.
