Job summary

Hoffman Construction seeks a Construction Cost Manager to lead cost control across large-scale projects. The role reports to the Project Director and drives reporting, forecasting, and change management while guiding a 5–15 person Cost Engineering team.

The position is in-office at project sites with opportunity to move into broader leadership roles within Hoffman’s portfolio of advanced technology and industrial projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field is required.
• 10+ years of progressive construction experience in GC/EPC environments.
• Proven leadership of Cost Engineers, Project Controls, or related teams.
• Strong cost management, forecasting, change management, and commercial principles.
• Experience collaborating with clients, owners, and subcontractors on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost reporting, forecasting, and EAC processes across projects.
• Oversee change order management, validations, and log upkeep.
• Lead cost risk assessments and mitigation planning.
• Direct a team of Cost Engineers and Project Controls staff.
• Provide executive-level financial analysis and reporting to leadership.
