The ideal candidate has extensive experience in construction cost engineering, estimating, and project controls, with a proven track record leading cost professionals and driving best practices.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in construction cost management, estimating, or project controls.
• Proven leadership experience managing cost engineering or project controls teams.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and industry best practices.
• Proficiency with cost management, estimating, and project controls software applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of project cost management, including estimating, budgeting, cost control, cash flow analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, cost plans, and forecasting models throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project expenditures, identify cost risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain budget compliance.
• Analyze specifications, drawings, schedules, and scope to support accurate cost projections and decision-making.
• Provide cost reporting and performance metrics to project leadership and clients.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of cost engineers and cost control professionals.
• Coordinate with project management, accounting, scheduling, and project controls teams for seamless data integration.
• Support planning through cost trend analysis, variance reporting, and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and project controls requirements.
