• Significant construction audit, forensic accounting or financial consulting experience.
• CPA preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction accounting and project costs.
• Experience reviewing contractor costs and financial records.
• Proven ability to independently lead projects and client engagements.
• Strong analytical, communication and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction and contract audit engagements.
• Review contractor costs, billings, invoices and accounting records.
• Analyse change orders, cost proposals and project financial documentation.
• Review direct/indirect costs and overhead allocations.
• Identify unsupported or unreasonable costs.
• Prepare audit findings, reports and recommendations.
• Manage projects from initial scope through final delivery.
• Present findings directly to clients and senior stakeholders.
