Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a dynamic Permanent Project Accountant to join our growing construction team in South Florida. You will oversee the financial management of multiple projects from inception to completion, working with project managers, the finance team, and senior leadership to ensure transparency and accuracy.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (CPA/CMA preferred) and at least 5 years in project accounting in construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/CMA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in project accounting, preferably in construction.
• Proficiency in AP/AR, cost accounting, and financial analysis.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, laws, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial aspects of construction projects: budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, reporting.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable; ensure timely processing.
• Conduct regular financial analysis to identify cost overruns and inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop budgets, track costs, and forecast future costs.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Prepare regular financial reports for senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Coordinate with the finance team to integrate project accounting with overall financial management.
