Job summary

Extramilemechanical is seeking an experienced Accounting Lead to oversee daily financial operations for our service and construction business. You will manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.

This hands-on role requires close collaboration with operations and leadership to ensure accurate job costing, budgeting, and compliance with internal controls. Strong QuickBooks skills and union payroll experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction/service industries.
• Experience with union payroll or complex payroll environments.
• Solid understanding of AP, AR, job costing, and general ledger accounting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes with accuracy and proper documentation.
• Manage weekly payroll including union payroll processing, deductions, and reporting requirements.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, job cost entries, and monthly financial statements.
