Keeley Construction in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage monthly close, reconciliations, and journal entries in accordance with U.S. GAAP. The role supports the Assistant Controller and emphasizes accuracy and timely reporting for construction projects.

You will analyze job costs, support audits, and help implement process improvements in close, reconciliations, and documentation. CMiC experience and multi-entity exposure are a plus; CPA/CMA preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
3-4 years of accounting experience required.
U.S. GAAP knowledge and month-end close experience essential.
CPA or CMA certification preferred; CMiC experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and maintain monthly balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
Post monthly and ad-hoc journal entries, including accruals and adjustments.
Assist with the monthly close process and variance analysis.
Support construction accounting: job costing and cost allocations.
Aid internal and external audits with schedules and explanations.
Identify process improvements for reconciliations, close, and documentation.
