Job summary

Saint-Gobain/CertainTeed is seeking a Sr. Consolidation Accountant to ensure accurate and timely North American financial reporting and consolidation.

You will prepare quarterly statements, administer the FCCS Oracle Consolidation system, and coordinate with HR, Legal and other stakeholders to meet reporting requirements. Key responsibilities include preparing statements for CertainTeed, reviewing data for variances, acting as FCCS administrator, administering stock saving plan data with HR, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting or consolidation experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and financial statement preparation.
• Experience with financial consolidation systems and large, complex data sets.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to analyse, reconcile, and communicate financial information.
• Experience with integrated ERP and financial reporting systems is a plus.
• Ability to operate within established accounting and reporting guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly financial statements for CertainTeed, LLC, including supporting schedules and analyses.
• Support the financial consolidation and reporting process by reviewing data, investigating variances, and ensuring timely submissions.
• Serve as a system administrator for the FCCS Oracle Consolidation database.
• Partner with HR Compensation to administer the U.S. Stock Saving Plan database and verify payouts.
• Complete mandatory government surveys for North American entities and coordinate with stakeholders.
