Job summary

Anthropic is seeking experienced software engineers to join Connectivity in San Francisco/London. You will design, build, and operate the MCP proxy, OAuth, and token management systems to enable reliable external tool calls with enterprise-grade permissions.

You'll own reliability, contribute to MCP standards and SDKs, and collaborate with research to productize capabilities that scale for thousands of companies daily.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Experience operating production distributed systems with reliability focus.
• Ability to own designs from conception through deployment and support.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate the core connectivity infrastructure behind external tool calls (MCP proxy, OAuth, token management).
• Own reliability, SLOs, on-call, incident response and postmortems for critical infra.
• Develop admin controls and permission models for enterprise IT governance.
• Contribute to MCP standard and SDKs in collaboration with research and product teams.
• Scope multi-month projects and translate ambiguity into shipped work.
