Job summary

Pfizer seeks a Senior Associate Scientist in Conjugation Chemistry in Pearl River, NY. You will support development and scale-up of glycoconjugate vaccine processes and join the Early Bioprocess Development group of Vaccine Research and Development.

You will document experiments, analyze data, and collaborate with fermentation, purification, analytical and formulation teams to ensure quality and compliance with cGMP/GLP standards. On-site with relocation support.

Qualifications

• Must have BS or MS with chemistry background and relevant lab experience.
• Strong background in organic chemistry and instrument operation.
• Experience documenting laboratory notebook electronically.

Responsibilities

• Support development, optimization and scale-up of glycoconjugate vaccine processes.
• In-process analysis of glycoconjugates and intermediates.
• Document experiments and prepare technical reports in a compliant manner.
• Collaborate with fermentation, purification, analytical and formulation teams.
